Class Description

Yoga can help you achieve a more relaxed and joyful state of being - improving all aspects of your daily life from your home and family, to the workplace, and to your spiritual life as well.
This style of yoga is structured around a sequence of twelve basic postures which constitute the essence of all asanas. Building on this primary set of asanas, we introduce many variations designed to help tone the body, build strength and flexibility, and calm the mind. Pranayama, or breath control exercises, and relaxation techniques, are also part of every class. These help you deepen your yoga practice by stilling and focusing the mind.
Our focus is on yoga as a holistic spiritual lifestyle. All classes are taught in the tradition of Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh, India.
Sita is currently teaching private sessions of 60 or 90 minutes in length.
