    Meaning(s)

    1. Yoga posture in the hatha yoga system.
    2. Third limb of the ashtanga yoga system. Explained as a steady and comfortable meditative posture.
    3. Seat. In the yogic sense, refers to the pillow or apparatus we sit on for meditation and pranayama.
    4. Seat. In bhakti yoga, refers to the seat the deity is sitting on, either on photos or the actual physical seat we offer during a puja ritual.
