A Complaint Free World
published on Tue. Jul. 24th, '07 by Sita ChaitanyaAt Christ Church Unity in Kansas City, Missouri, a program called "A Complaint Free World" was started to try to make the world a better place. The theory is that complaining is habitual for each of us, and they wanted to bring awareness to just how much we do this every day and try to change this very negative habit.

The way it works is you wear a purple bracelet that you get from them. When you find yourself complaining, gossiping or criticizing you switch the bracelet to the other wrist. If you can make it 21 days without complaining you have formed a new habit and, in their words,
You will find that your entire life is happier, more loving, more positive and more abundant.
To date, the Christ Church Unity has been requested to ship almost 6 million bracelets to eighty different countries. The most amazing thing is that the whole operation is done completely with volunteers and by donation. The bracelets and shipping are free and no profit goes to the church.
A novel and simple idea that can only help to make the world better for all of us. Much good luck to them.
